Обладателем звания «Лучший преподаватель вуза» 2022 года стала старший преподаватель высшей школы естественных наук, PhD, Жумагул Молдир Жакыпжановна. Следует отметить, что всего в конкурсе 2022 года приняли участие 775 претендентов из высших учебных заведений Казахстана. Обладателями высокого звания стали 150 человек из 43 вузов. A young teacher of the Higher School of Natural Sciences Niyazbek Aruna Seilbekovna took part in the Republican competition "The Best Young Specialist-2022", organized in order to widely promote the Message of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "A Just State. On November 22, 2022, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Astana International University and the Public Foundation "Center for the Promotion of Sustainable Development". The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the PlastNet plastic collection and recycling network, created with the support of The Coca-Cola Foundation.

On December 26, the first working meeting was held with Alena Severinenko, a representative of PlastNet, and Myrzakhmet Maldybekov, head of «ВТС Астана 2». Dean Ainur Seitkan acquainted the guests with the work carried out by the Higher School of Natural Sciences to attract the attention of teaching staff and students to the problem of environmental pollution with solid waste, to inculcate a conscious and responsible attitude to consumption.

As part of the cooperation, PlastNet donated specialized eco-boxes for collecting waste materials to the university. An agreement was also reached that the company «ВТС Астана 2» will be in charge for the collection of secondary raw materials from the territory of the university.

Thus, Astana International University will become the first university in Astana to introduce a system of separate waste collection on its territory and this is a serious contribution of the university to the sustainable development of our capital!

I am very glad that on the basis of our Astana International University we can try to study abroad as students. Participation in the academic mobility program is not only an invaluable experience in studying disciplines and English, but also a tremendous experience of living abroad. These are trips and impressions that stay with you forever. The very first thing that caught my eye upon arrival was a large number of international students from all over the world. It is very interesting to communicate with them and talk about their country and culture. Studying at the university is interesting, in addition to studying subjects, various forums, round tables, competitions and contests are often held. At Adam Mickiewicz University, you can get new and very useful knowledge in the field of economics and finance. I have made many new friends and acquaintances. 3rd year student specialties Finance

From November 14 to December 10, 2022, undergraduates of the Higher School of Economics of Astana International University completed a foreign scientific internship at the Department of Organization and Management of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Belarusian State University of Economics.

Lectures and seminars were conducted by the Doctor of Economics, Professor Byalyatsky N.P., as well as the Master of Economics Moroz V.V. The volume of the educational program of trainees amounted to 120 academic hours, theoretical and practical aspects of management, state and local government, business leadership development, negotiation were considered. As part of the open access to the closed resources of the BSEU Electronic Library during the internship, undergraduates collected materials for use in the preparation of master's projects. The database of scientific publications of the university has been studied. The final certification was carried out at the BSEU in the form of undergraduates defending reports on the results of the internship.

The Higher School of Economics of Astana International University will continue to develop cooperation with the Department of Organization and Management of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Belarusian State University of Economics, expand cooperation on the organization of scientific internships, conferences, seminars and other forms of exchange of experience.

On November 28, 2022, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between NJSC "Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yessenov" and Astana International University.

Partner universities plan to:

• implement academic mobility of teaching staff and students;

• develop and implement joint educational programs;

• involve leading scientists for scientific supervision of PhD doctoral students at a partner university;

• develop and implement joint scientific projects,

• provide access to research centers and research laboratories for research;

• jointly organize scientific seminars, conferences and webinars;

• share scientific information and knowledge.

As part of the Memorandum, partner universities are now working on the possibility of exchanging Ecology and Biology students!

Located in a driving distance from Istanbul, Ankara and the Black Sea, KU has attracted the attention and interest of more than 400 of Kazakhstanians who are currently studying at this university.

The key moment of the visit was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between AIU and KU, which, among other things, includes provisions for the implementation of academic exchange of students and teachers, conferences, joint research, etc.

The Rector of KU University - Professor Refik Polat held a interesting and informative lecture for AIU students on our campus at EXPO, talking about the path of formation and development of KU.

KU was in the TOP 801 - 1000 of the TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION (THE) world rankings as of 2021. Also included in the TOP 10 best universities in Turkey.

More than 250 KU academic programs offered to more than 50 thousand students, incl. more than 12 thousand foreign. The teaching staff consists of more than 1100 employees.

In the House of Friendship, an awards ceremony was held following the results of a competition of student scientific works on the topic of interethnic harmony, organized by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Astana. It was attended by scientists, teachers, heads of departments, undergraduates and doctoral students, students, representatives of government agencies and ethno-cultural associations of the capital's educational institutions.

The competition was held with the aim of improving inter-ethnic harmony, ethno-political and ethno-social situation with the involvement of the scientific potential of students of higher educational institutions of the city of Astana, strengthening inter-ethnic harmony and national unity of the people of Kazakhstan among students. In total, over 20 scientific papers were submitted to the competition.

By decision of the commission, the following students were awarded certificates:

2nd place - certificate for 200,000 tenge - Ulankyzy Kalamkas, 3rd year student majoring in History, The scientific supervisor was associate professor of the Higher School of Social and Humanitarian Sciences K.S. Uskembayev. Congratulations to the winners!

The Higher School of Arts and Design organized an exhibition of student works dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition presents creative works of students and works in the disciplines: Painting, Drawing, Illustration, Jewelry Art.

Kuandyk Meirzhan Asylbekuly, a first year student History specialty of the Astana International University, was awarded for 1st place in the section "Place and role of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the formation of public consent" of the Republican student scientific and practical conference "Kazakhstan is my Motherland", dedicated to the "Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" in Karaganda Boketov University.
