City and Nature: How Is Greening Transforming the Appearance of Astana?

On June 12, the chief specialist of the AstanaZelenStroy enterprise, Aigerim Yerlanovna Abdegalieva, held a meeting with first-year students of the 6B05101 “Biology” educational program. During the meeting, issues related to urban greening in Astana, the importance of green infrastructure, and ways to improve the urban environmental situation were discussed.

Astana International University Supports Environmental Initiatives!

Since February, our university has joined the @321_start 3.2.1 Start project and has already sent 521 kg of plastic for recycling.
Every kilogram recycled is a step toward environmental responsibility and a sustainable future.

An environmental seminar was held at the OzgeEpic Creative Hub in collaboration with the Astana City Department of Culture. The speaker of the event was a lecturer at Astana International University and an eco-activist — Aidana Salamatkyzy Kydyrova.

Since February, plastic bottles at @aiu.edu.kz have no longer been thrown away.
To date, more than 1.5 tons of plastic have been sent for recycling.
Every bottle is a step toward a cleaner environment and a more responsible future
