Forensic training ground

 

At the Higher School of Law there is a teaching and methodological office (forensic testing ground), located in auditorium No. 014, the furnishings of which imitate the scene of a crime in a living room, including a dummy of the victim. The office conducts classes in forensic science and special courses on crime scene inspection and other investigative actions. In classroom classes, students develop skills in applying knowledge acquired during the study of disciplines taught at the Higher School of Law, aimed at developing the practical component of future prosecutorial and investigative activities.

 

The objectives of the forensic training ground are:

 

Ø  providing methodological assistance to students in educational, educational and research work in the disciplines of the higher school of law;

Ø  consolidation and improvement of practical skills in conducting individual investigative actions;

Ø  improving the professional skills of students.

 

The tasks of the forensic training site include:

 

Ø  assist the teaching staff of the Higher School of Law in preparing and conducting practical classes at a high scientific and methodological level;

Ø  provide organizational and methodological assistance to students in independent study of educational material;

Ø  provide organizational and methodological assistance to students in independent study of educational material;

Ø  collect and use in the educational process the experience of investigative and operational forensic units;

Ø  stimulate the use of innovative teaching methods and techniques for the most active formation of professional skills.

 

The structure of the forensic training ground includes 1 object: “Living room”. It simulates individual operational investigative situations for conducting practical exercises related to the inspection of the crime scene, search and seizure, detention, verification and clarification of evidence on the spot and other investigative actions.

At the same time, using technical and forensic tools, techniques and methods for detecting, recording and seizing traces of a crime.
