Open Day of the Psychological Service at the Higher School of Information Technology and Engineering

The AIU Psychology Service held an Open Day for students of the School

of Information Technology and Engineering. The event's main goal was to improve

students' psychological literacy, create a safe and supportive student environment,

and provide information about psychological support.


During the event, students participated in informative meetings. During the

webinar "Personal Boundaries and Safety: Stalking Prevention," led by

psychologist Venera Eleu, Head of the AIU Psychology Service, participants

received important information about the concept of personal boundaries, how to

protect them, the signs of stalking, and how to prevent such situations.

Furthermore, safety skills and ways to seek help were explained.

During a meeting with AIU psychologist Botagoz Zhasulankyzy on the topic

"Culture of Communication and Psychological Safety in the Student

Environment," the topics discussed included respectful communication among

students, maintaining personal boundaries, preventing bullying, and creating a

psychologically safe environment.

During the event, students had the opportunity to engage in open dialogue

with psychologists and discuss topics of interest to them.
