From December 23 to 26, 2025, Sultan Panov, Junior Research Fellow of the project
“AP26100031 - International Mediation Hub as a Tool for Peaceful Conflict Resolution and Nuclear Disarmament: Experience of Kazakhstan and Foreign Countries” at Astana International University, paid an official business visit to Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
During the visit to the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, meetings were held with representatives of Kyrgyzstan’s academic community.
The discussions focused on the development of international mediation, its role in conflict prevention and peaceful resolution, as well as practical approaches to the application of mediation mechanisms in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Following the visit, the parties expressed their interest in further cooperation. The business trip became an important step toward strengthening professional ties and expanding research collaboration in the field of international mediation.
