As part of the implementation of the scientific project AP 26100031 "International Mediation Hub in the Field of Nuclear Disarmament: Experience of Kazakhstan and Foreign Countries" the project scientists - Chingaeva B.K., Bolat A.A. and Ramazanova N.A. - made a working trip to the city of Astana according to the project plan. The main goal of the trip was to strengthen the scientific and practical foundation of the project, as well as to accomplish the assigned tasks.

During the trip, project staff held offline sessions with the other members of the research group, discussing the completed work, agreeing on intermediate results, and reviewing the research plan for 2026. Additionally, work was organized to allocate tasks according to the project’s calendar plan. Furthermore, within the framework of the project, meetings were organized with experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During these meetings, independent opinions on the research topic were gathered, and professional assessments were received on key issues of the project. As a result of the meetings with experts, independent opinions and professional assessments regarding the content and conclusions of the project were obtained. During the trip, in order to gather, analyze, and systematize additional sources and materials for the research topic, necessary literature and sources were collected at the National Academic Library of Kazakhstan, and their analysis was conducted. These additional materials will serve as a valuable basis for scientific work and publications related to the project. Thus, the working trip of project scientists significantly strengthened the scientific and practical foundation of the project. The priority research directions were updated, scientific aspects of the project were clarified, and necessary tools and methods for the further development of the project were determined.

The results of the trip will increase the efficiency of work in the following stages of the project and provide a new impetus for scientific research in Kazakhstan in the fields of international law and nuclear disarmament. The results obtained will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to the development of scientific research in these areas.
